Guidelines for Contributors

Many of our readers have expressed interest in contributing.
WEll, here's the scoop:

The daily posts on the blog will run like this
a.) a link to the text of the perek
b.) a 1-2 paragraph summary/analysis of the perek.
c.) 1-3 paragraphs of either a dvar torah on the perek, questions for further study, brief discussion of an interesting midrash connected to the perek, etc.
d.)links to other places on the internet that have relevant material to the perek,
We need people to write parts b and c. We have some commitments at this point for Shoftim, and perhaps for Yehoshua as well, although we are happy to split them up. Contributions need not be for an entire sefer--anything on any perek is certainly helpful.

We have also started another blog for longer pieces. This way especially if someone has something they already wrote (a paper,or an extended dvar Torah or whatever) , or are inspired to put together something more extensive, it can be put there, linked to the main website, and be a resource without overwhelming the more casual users. You're welcome to submit to that as well, on any perek in Nach (although at this point we would prefer the earlier ones!)

(All material posted will have attribution to the author (unless they request anonymity.) Additionally, we do not commit to use all material submitted.)

Thank you much, and remember Yehoshua starts on Thursday!

An unhelpful comment, if I may...The title and header for the other blog, Kishutei haKallah, is beautiful and inspiring. Y'yasher kochachem!
